Won’t your map be the one done by RRP for the previous engine so won’t be suited to this motor. Good idea to call the engine builder.

Have you got a CO detector/alarm?

Running those burners for heat could become an issue...

finally home, cornwall comercials is my local recovery company, the only ones for miles, and they where really busy tonight. they ended up sending their only spare wagon, a 7.5ton spec lift, to drag me home on a pole. not much fun, i can assure you!

im very very glad i have recovery! police where great too! closed the road so i could reverse down the road and to a junction.

People give the rozzers sh*t, but down in the West country most of them are actually really decent, mostly because other than the odd county lines drug bust, their week is normally pulling over pissed farmers, herding escaped cows, attending the scene of a tourist who's caravan is taller than the bridge they've just tried to go under, or recapturing an escaped swan.

Glad you got home and you didn't die of carbon monoxide poisoning!

injectors where tested yesterday, 1 scrap and being replaced with a exchange unit, 2 passed test and one failed but rebuildable. im having 3 rebuilt anyway, still a Mahooosive bill.........

120+vat each for rebuilds plus 188+vat for replacement on a exchange basis.

so lets look at my car issues at the moment.
the rx8 is awaiting a new tactrix that hasnt arrived yet
rx8 no2 has no clutch
the laguna has no key, i sent it off for repair and havent received it back, i think royal mail have lost it.
and the lorry is broken too..

now the work van can break and ill have no vehicles at all.....

I know how you feel....the fleet all running great but theres always a job on 1 or 2 of them then a failure or 2 and stress fest as awaiting jobs manifests into something more serious...
Then theres the mother and father inlaws cars as well..." didnt want to mention but theres a noise" raaaa.
If the final surviving fleet member dies hit me up....im signed off waiting for another op so got Shogun and Scooby sat here doing nothing tax n tested.

thats a very kind offer, but not necessary, and, thinking about it, logistically difficult! if the van breaks theyll have it fixed or replaced within 24hrs, as its leased. the cars are a non issue as long as my boss doesnt find out im using the van for other than work purposes whilst i have no other vehicle #-o
