CarNatter at Silverstone

Mitz66 has put me on to this and it sounds huge fun.
For only a tenner per person you turn up at Silverstone on a quiet day so straight in, share a private car park with the other CarNatter classic sports car folk and enjoy a variety of beautiful vehicles, then have a private conference room overlooking the track on one of Silverstone's racing league days, plus open access to the pit lane to admire and chat with whoever is racing that day, and if you're lucky and it's not busy you get to pop up to the top floor conference rooms that look down over the entire track with a superb view. There is almost to much choice there will at 12. Is it worth picking maybe the 4 most prestigious or deconflicted dates with other events to make choice a little easier

Indeed, once I have the most favoured date/dates I'll push it explicitly. That said, anyone can go if they fancy it when ever they like regardless

Hello fellow Rx8 group.members. Hope all are well. I have let Will know about this event at Silverstone (car natter) and he is asked me to post a few details, however badd my english is One thing I can assure you will definately enjoy the racing and great silverstone atmosphere all from the comfort of Brooklands suite with a great race view. There is couple of things to do:

No 1 - Download silverstone app is a must available on play or apple store. This is where they send the E -ticket for access on the day. ( If it hasn't arrived by a week before the event you will need to contact silverstone. )

Then using same email address:

The ticket should be discounted and £10.00. Order your ticket and double check event details for Saturday 25th October 750 motor club

On the day of arrival show your E ticket on the silverstone app and you will be directed to car natter parking next to brooklands suite (should have car natter sign outside)

Don't forget to take a stroll down the pit lane for all the action.

Just to give you guys an idea of what to expect on show this weekend. They use the full GP circuit for this event, and I heard that there could be up to 250 cars on track at any given time. Hopefully a few RX8s will be participating and we can find the drivers while they're in the paddock and have a chat.

This first link shows you where we'll be based for the day. We have an exclusive suite at Brooklands with a good view down Wellington and across to Luffield. Sometimes park firme is in the assembly area below as you can see in the video, so we'll get a really up close view of the machinse on show.

It was bloomin' excellent. I loved the range of different types on track, plus getting into the pits with them all. Damn cool. The sun even made an appearance for us, which was very welcome, as it was a might chilly in the wind.
