Tbh, having just looked at the site to purchase. I am finding it hard to justify nearly £60 to sit in a field for 7hrs for the 3 of us. I dont recall this being £22 per person and £15 for a child previously. I thought it was per car last time? That is quite obscenely expensive to park in a field with an Ice cream van and a few car clubs. I am afraid I may have to bow out as the family are with me due to the Benson Family day 2 days before. If I was on my own at £22 it would have been acceptable cost, but it seems a bit greedy to charge per person for this kind of event.

I thought as much Mark, I think unless your a single entry chap or chappess it is just not worth it for a family. A family of 4 would be pushing £100 to just attend for the 9am until 4pm Saturday, and all you get is entry to a field with some car clubs that take 30 min to walk around.

In comparison to Beulieu at £16pp that has the national motor museum, 10x the cars, the historic house and gardens etc. Very disappointed, and if other car clubs have felt the same, our attendance figures in comparison to last time may also be reflected in other clubs.

I am afraid as I have the family with me, I've had to remove myself from this as with fuel it would be over £150 to catch up with a couple of members and sit in a field. Hopefully if we can give feedback to the show, we can express concern at this going from one of the cheaper family friendly events we pitched as an AM for that reason, to now actually the most expensive event certainly in my calendar over JDMcombe, Beaulieu, Benson, Silverstone, Rotary Day Bicester etc. Until it becomes more family friendly priced, I wont be attending again unless I have a weekend on my own.

Yeah I get it, given my circumstances now I’ll be attending with a mate who will be paying for himself so it’s a very doable thing for me and only 30mins away, if it’s dry weather I’ll go..
