CarEvent club creation

Good evening all,

I have created us a CarEvents Club profile.

On here we will publish all our meets and events, and shows we are attending. Pending fee's, we may use this to pay for future events as an option outside of the club shop also.

We are promoting Sakura through this, primarily to get it out there and for other Clubs or individuals to see and purchase their tickets. Obviously we have 50 tickets held back for paid members to attend free of charge. The other 200 will be sold through here, once our stripe account is set up.

Excellent. Seen and approved. I am getting to grips with the site and actually I would recommend all members to jump on. We can host private events I.e our own club stands etc at shows on there and is a good way of tracking at a glance what the club is doing in the year. I'll be updating those later.....perhaps SeanP won't forget he has booked and paid for a track day using this

Used this site a few times as a guest to see what’s on nearby and I am a fan of it. They released an app too which is more of a social media, people post their cars and where they are which is pretty neat.

Only pain I had with it is that when searching it would always search the US rather than the UK, even when I change to the UK site. When I eventually got it working it would stick me in Leeds, even though my location says Portsmouth. Might just be a me thing, and I know a lot of events near me use this site so it’s worth signing up for!

Shame that I can’t make it to Sakura this year, if it’s hosted next year i’ll make sure to come!

Yeah so I quickly worked out the that even in UK .ode if you press the magnifying glass then it defaults to USA search, however to get round this, when you select UK, click the start searching events button in the picture main pic. That goes to UK search.

I think it's an epic site and they've made organising this event and payments so much easier than if we needed people in club shop. This should male life easy for people. Had our first non rx8 pay and get the first of 200 non rx8 tickets. 199 to go.
