Evening everyone, unfortunately I have pulled down the Carevents website yesterday. I approached the Committee on Monday into the viability of this show, due to both poor membership uptake and extremely poor public uptake. This was set to be a historic lowest turn out of an AM, and we sold only 4 tickets in about 10 weeks, of which 3 of these were family members or friends of the club, leaving but 1 actual attendee. This was despite the best efforts of all the events team and Committee. To this end, a large discussion was held with the committee and an initial majority vote to cancel was yielded. This was countered with a proposal to delay instead of cancel and try to push more. Yet another lengthy discussion was had and another majority vote was decided on a full cancellation.

I will give an important messages for members annoucement shortly on this, but wished to close speculation on here also. Full refunds will be given to those who paid for additional family members or friends of course, and my sincere apologies we were unable to fulfil what should of been a great weekend. We are back to the drawing board on an AM as we try to promote new ventures or ideas, as clearly this was not the way to go for us or the public.
