Shedfest at Goodwood on 25th May
Just purchased a showcar ticket in the JDM stand as loved last year's event and have never been to Goodwood before.
Snap em up while ya can peeps, as reckon it'll sell out rather quickly, going by the numbers that got stuck in traffic on route to last year's event and the success of the AutoAlex Youtube multiverse.

Grabbed mine. Goodwood is a fair journey for any northerly people. Hopefully we get some more members going.

Re: Shedfest at Goodwood on 25th May
Am hoping to come, recent speeding ticket
and last minute having to buy the wife a car have put a dent in finances. We might now need to go in 2 cars if she loves her new one. Be amazing to meet the guys from the auto Alex multiverse!

Re: Shedfest at Goodwood on 25th May
Do we know how many of us will be coming? Would be good to meet up and convoy together. Neil, Harry and myself are staying tonight in Portsmouth. Drew will also meet up with me at the car park of Holiday Inn Portsmouth North. Anyone else want to meet up here and drive together?

Re: Shedfest at Goodwood on 25th May
Had a fab day at Goodwood, big turnout, great atmosphere, the weather improved as the day went on with plenty of spectacular cars in attendance, including 6 RX8s flying the flag.
No entry/exit issues, well run with a nice easy layout and the bonus of watching small planes landing and taking off right next to us. Was good to see Drew and Harry there too, hope ya all got back safe and sound.

Re: Shedfest at Goodwood on 25th May
Agreed. Possibly the best show I've ever been to. Very happy and great day. Excellent layout and running, finally home after a total of 560 miles for the show.
We all had a great time, the petrolheadonism chap moved us by the the sim aswell so we were right in the show. I was only edging onto tarmac off the grass with a Goodwood marshal and was stopped then redirected to the start/finish line with a 200sx to display right by the front gate as we were parking up. Bit of luck there. Nice chap, he came running down to park us himself. Big shout out to that guy and the petrolheadonism team.
Our highlights of the show were some good 1 on 1 time with most of the guys, I should buy a lottery ticket after today, we bumped into Taylor first by the back of the merch tent and spent some time with him and Harvey had a photo op. Next we got chatting to Mike from Drivetribe for about another 10 min and another photo. Bumped into Robin who I'd been chatting with shortly after and had another natter. Then poodled over to Dad cars shortly after with Ben to hand Harvey's car sheet in for his sweets, while talking to him Alex and Rory rocked up, and had a good chat with them given how busy they both were for prob about 20 min in total with Ben and Rory before Alex had a fleeting 5 min. Naturally another photo op as they were leaving. Ben said there was a 1230 dad cars event, we came back and next min me and Harvey are on stage with Tom lenthal for an autoalex quiz, team Tom against Team Gareth. Neck and neck until a podcast question about 15k sports cars had both teams stumped with what the guys picked during the podacst......luckily Tom pulled it out the bag for us to win with guessing Taylor would go for an M3.
Ben gave Harvey a 007 scalextric, hoody and me a NextBase dashcam. We had a good laugh with them all and then plodded on around. Cara on the equipment4garages stand made a big fuss of Harvey aswell and merchandised him up (also had a discussion with them about become club trader/sponsor that was their idea, potential group buys and discount codes on KwikLifts inbound).
Every single one of them was so nice, genuine and a good laugh exactly how they come across on screen. Absolute top day and great guys. Even had a pleasant 7hr drive back, including 1hr Sunday dinner break, with no traffic jams or issues, sailed up on cruise control.

Re: Shedfest at Goodwood on 25th May
Great day
weather chirped up nicely, saw our american friend in his (new to him) bright yellow camaro
curveball though - even though it was a car show, my absolute favourite part was watching the spitfire take off just before half 12
(turns out the costs for signing up for that flight from goodwood start at £3250 for 30 mins!) and got a few shots of Drew's car on entry too

Re: Shedfest at Goodwood on 25th May
Didn't realise you could passenger fly in that, we were down then bottom end looking at cars during its start up and take off right next to us. I think that was Harvey's favourite part of the day.

Re: Shedfest at Goodwood on 25th May
Well done guys
Glad it was a great day and thanks for the excellent photos
The Spitfire is great and probably the Grace Spitfire which is an amazing story in itself and I would like to go up in that ( one of my relatives was a Spitfire pilot )
The Grace Spitfire was started by the husband who died in a car crash and was taken over by his wife who also died a few years ago ( I believe also in a car crash ) it may be relatives who now run it and a very rare two seater Spitfire
It’s well worth googling the story
Great show

Re: Shedfest at Goodwood on 25th May
Oh and a shout out to BC coilovers, there was a chap from them going round taking Polaroids of certain cars to promote BC and win 20% of a set of coilovers. Got a little black envelope on my windscreen with a sticker set, a Polaroid of the car and info. So, that will time in nicely for purchasing a set as my next thing to buy
