What a weekend!!!!!

We loved every second of it and Eibhlin only tried to steal one MR2

Another great weekend. I must really remember to actually walk around the campsite a bit more and see other people's cars.

Right now I feel a bit more human, got home and went immediately to sleep,
Had to have a Power Nap at Watford gap after realising my reactions weren’t up to speed,

It is 1 month off ageing out at 10 years and being replaced....

Indeed a wonderful weekend meeting up with everyone. And in Eibhlin's defence MR2's are only small

A double dose of RX8 meets for Shaun and I this weekend. Certainly down on numbers for both events, with inclement weather and several members pulling out didn't dampen the enthusiasm of those who came along to both.
12 RX8s made it to Yakushi, with only 7 RX8s and 2 RX7s on the stand at Go Japan. It did mean however, more bacon rolls for those that did attend!


It was good to meet the family who had driven down to the Yakushi event from the Lake District, to speak with members of the RX8OC. With the aid of his family, the son has an RX8 which has been stripped back, replacing the rusting sills is currently the first phase of the rebuild. Hopefully we'll see him and his 8 at club meets in the coming years.

And yes, with GoJapan splitting the attendees numbers were obviously well down compared to last year. I thought it made our turn our even more respectable.

for future reference its tight as hell getting to the stand.... and the exit route is impossible. which lead me to driving out the in, onto the wrong side of the road, down the road for a wile against traffic and back left before the arch

Some great photos, I particularly like the one taken at the entrance. Looks like the grid for a race, though it took us over half an hour to get there. So we were never going anywhere fast!
