And the winners are:

Chilli heatwave- SeanP for trying to burn JoshC front bumper off with the largest flames during the Exclusive track session.

Lightly salted - Conan for managing to have rust inside his tailpipes, doors and sunroof.

Cool Original - AMH to Ann for her Oem spec 20k mile R3 in (near) pristine condition...

Loaded pepperoni - to the Condor of Might for repeatedly modifying and re modifying his black cherry mica S1 to an inch of its life..

Tangy Cheese - To Metelyk for the pure audacity to have emblazoned football signage on his Subaru....and it being Leeds Utd. 🤣 your either a car guy or a football guy. Never shall thy twine.

An excellent weekend as always. 😊 Was nice to get the car to the show after the day of effort before that was completely not required if I'd planned better. 😂

I enjoyed the hotel dinner and the hotel location was lovely. Few let downs on some parts of the hotel sadly. But the restraunt staff were absolutely top tier from my perspective.

Overall a very good annual meet for me. 😊 Can't wait for yakushi next as that will be another brilliant weekend!

I've tried to get something along the lines of D2EW or D12EW for a while. But they're long gone. Hadn't thought of 8, maybe even a 9 would work but again I imagine all gone.

Now I'm in and settled after a long weekend, I would just like to thank all the attendees of both events and the AM. Once again we've had x2 spectacular shows with track time, professional stands and most importantly a really good time.

It wouldn't be possible without the support of Will and Ian, plus the others on the Events Team who have pushed through all the finer details and set ups on the Day to ensure everyone can have a great outings.

The AM was another succesfull night with a great turnout. We totalled at 34 seated guests, all paid members won a prize in the Raffle with 22 up for grabs, with the top prize RB Arb kit going to one of newest members Sagaris. Really nice guy and great company, a solid addition to our community and I hope to see him at more events. It's amazing to see the car and club still drawing like minded enthusiasts, and meeting these new faces.

We had many jokes and laughs during my 3rd AM (in a 2 year tenure 🤔 ), which makes putting on the event really worth it. I tried to keep my announcements to a minimum and was clocked at only talking for approx 1.5hrs this year, so it's coming down. As always Harvey was on hand to draw prizes, the Raffle was the best I've witnessed and of course our new tradition of Annual awards, which Dan Dr.FrankenRex put a nice spin on for Dorito flavours and 3d printed the awards in matching colours, as above.

In all, a great weekend and I start recovering now ready to go again (potentially, nominations still open) next year. Until then, Thank you to our amazing members, committee, volunteers, events team and the club in general for another memorable weekend to cherish as we continue push the club further and longer to each new milestone.

I'd like to echo what's already been said - massive thank you to all the volunteers and members. You've done a great job of making it a fantastic weekend yet again :snog:

Also a special thank you to everyone (which was most of you  ) that participated in the entertainment and corralling of one very smily/hyper assistant secretary =D> I would have liked to say that all the running around wore her out but that would be completely inaccurate

My Track Session videos now up from the Exclusive Club Session. As I was the first car out there's only a few cars featured. With limited numbers, it made for clear running and allowed me to nab a new Combe PB lap time of 1:27.38, which was pretty surprising given that I left my better sets of track tyres at home. Conditions were perfect though, and my winter diff and suspension upgrades have paid dividends.

i forgot to pick my camera up so no video from me, however the car went very well considering its its first time on a proper track. as would be expected in that situation a few issues popped up. one being whilst i thought i had the brake bias about right, i really didn't, which i discovered relatively soon, locking the rears up and having to take a bypass as i couldn't stop it

i also managed to nuke a fuel pump. after talking to pip gardner and clive, i have a theory as to why and will be swapping the in tank pump, replacing the 044 for a new one as it now screams like a banshee and produces very little fuel pressure and replumbing the swirl pot so as to take some of the work off the in tank pump. after doing that i will test it under constant load on a dyno and verify im no longer overheating fuel pumps and have consistent fuel pressure under load.

all that being true, i still had a great day and im glad i had issues on a £45 session rather than paying 100's for a full day and finding out in the first 10 mins....

nice catching up with so many familiar faces (ok, im terrible at faces but ykwim) and a few new guys, and I really hope the guys that had issues on the stand next to ours managed to get the car home ok, it wasn't looking too healthy unfortunately...

se y'all at yakushi!
