CarCalendar - Chairmans Choices

Had a lazy morning scanning the thousands of shows, meets and events I've clearly been missing out on this year via my new favourite website. Next year the car is definitely living in Oxford and will try to get out to more. However, there is still some life in this season. One I'm particularly interested in, as I am an AutoAlex fan, is his show on the bank hol weekend. Anyway, details below of things this year that have either peaked my interest or that I'm considering attending. If anyone else fancies the below, please comment:

I've missed loads out that I have not looked at where the locations are in relation to me. But here was a few that caught my eye in the next few weeks.

I booked my ticket to Shedfest minutes after they went on sale, so there will be at least one 8 there, unless I've set the bloody thing on fire before hand.
I also have limited patience for people and crowds, so will probably not be there all that long.

Yes I was quite excited about finding this one, as per the write up I am a fan of Alex. However as it stands, just found out the Mrs is working so I am likely not able to attend to fulfil daddy day care duties. Sad times. Though he would love to come with me. It's just a little to far to get there and back to then turn around and head back past Gaydon for work later that evening.

Indeed, quite enjoy Alex's content. Fairly damning how far Car Throttle has fallen since his departure.
Granted it helps that I've known Taylor since before he could drive as well, so there's a little more of a personal connection.

Taylor's amazing. Mrs loves him, as do I. He is the reason I get to watch them at main TV time with her

The 2 together bounce well. Though I enjoyed car throttle and still watch them, Alex and Taylor have the chemistry to go on to top gear level shenanigans.

Apologies for keeping it off topic but he/them is the reason i got an RX8, i emailed for advice on what car to get next with my budget and never got a reply, ended up with the yellow peril!

I would also like to attend that with you Will. But given its the day before the AM, this year it will potentially have to be a miss. If you do go though, and of course anyone else who can with you, I look forward to a chat about it and potentially adding it to next year's Calendar. In fact I am about to reply to your earlier message, so we can discuss on there plus I'm not sure how far in advance the Calendar goes or if it can show previous events from this year aswell, but we can have a look for next seasons inspiration in anticipation for next year's activities. Certainly the resource offers up alternatives to the usual big and expensive shows that could be added, like this one in question.

Yeah there's also a Himley Hall, car meet near Dudley that I'm skipping this year as it's on Sept 3rd but might be fun in future.
