Unlike other car clubs Stephen , it's not compulsory to have to turn up in a Mazda RX-8 to an event , so please come in the other Jap car instead

@Harley : Just do what I did , I registered both of my cars, so can decide on the day which one i'll be coming in to the show

Can you all make sure you at least register yours cars as soon as possible boys and girls , because they will close off bookings early if they start running out of space

The stand size is based on how many cars are registered and NOT based on how many tickets are sold

Note: This post doesn't relate directly to this event but might be of interest to those going...

During the mid-late 1970's I often rode Brands Hatch on various bikes in Club Meetings and when Wednesday's were "open practise".

One Wednesday we went along and the track looked "different".

It was only during the briefing that we we discovered that it had been setup to run backwards, that is anti-clockwise
Apparently there was a round of either the Hutchinson 100 or the Transatlantic Trophy being held that coming weekend and this was being run anti-clockwise so the Brits didn't have local knowledge advantage over the Yanks.

All the corners are very different when approached in the opposite direction.
Corners that normally opened-up, tightened, and so on.
Some of the run off's were in sort of the right place though they'd had to put temporary crash barriers in places, like what was now the exit to Paddock bend (which still had the hump across back then) and entering the main straight.

I've tried to find references to these events that show the layout used but not found anything yet, just this much more recent YT vid of someone driving the reverse course.
