Still no refund. Still no acknowledgement of my email to cancel. Still not been contacted directly about the move of the event to October either. If I hadn’t seen it here I’d be none the wiser. It’s sly, underhand & deceitful!! It’s not about a paltry £17.50.

I have emailed the circuit expressing people annoyance at how this is being handled.

Good morning,

I am sending this email on behalf of the RX8 Owners Club as several members have expressed their surprise and some their annoyance that there has been no direct communication regarding the date move and emails requesting refunds have not been acknowledged or replied to/actioned.
As far as I know the only announcement was on Facebook and people are therefore largely unaware of the cut of date for requesting cancellation and refunds.
I trust that the necessary action will be instigated to communicate the date change and their options as a result directly with all who have bookings currently for the original June date.

Yep i e-mailed them and they rang back left a message on my answer phones and called them back to be only told they dont know anything about it or to get a we are closed due to covid 19 message when you call so i sent email again and nothing total shambles

They phoned me back the next day asking for card details to send the money as it’s been too long to action a refund off the same order.

Hi Chris

Many thanks for your email and just to confirm at present I have actioned all requests we received pre 29th March and any after this date will be actioned at end of April but also as far as I am aware we did email all customers but please ask them to contact me direct and I will check each one individually. I can see we've had a few requests but they only came in at weekend so will sort these

Given that we were struggling to fill the exclusive track session for the June date I am concerned that attendance numbers will drop for the October date and the club will potentially be exposed to a substantial financial loss for the track session.
If by 7 days before the April deadline the session is not fully booked then I will cancel with the circuit and monies will be refunded to everyone from the club shop. Anyone who is still going will then need to re-book direct with the circuit when the 11:30 session becomes available.

I have now processed the refunds from the 2020 club exclusive track session. £25 has been returned back to the PayPal address used for the original transaction.
