We have a thread started on Mazda Rotary Club if anyone wishes to attend the event, all details are in the link, you need to buy your own tickets direct and we will arrange to meet up at a meeting point in order to try and get to parked up together observing the 2 metre rule :D

http://mazdarotaryclub.com/forum/index. ... #msg916902

The organisers has advised that once you’re all parked there then drop me a call and I’ll get you parked as a club no problem. If you’ve got a few stragglers then I can leave you extra space.

Weekend road testing of over 200 miles, has gone without a hitch,so I'm committed to this event, and really looking forward to it,especially if enough of us can form an 'unofficial' club stand ;)

We have been liasing all the time with Nigel who is the organiser and this has been agreed from the outset, so the plan is to meet approx 9-9.30 in Convoy Meeting area. Lisa will call him when we have all arrived to ensure that we all get parked up together.

For clarity, it's neither an RX-8 OC or MRC event as such. Just like the invitation on here, the MRC are merely highlighting an event, run by a 3rd party, that people might want to attend and enjoy. Given the Covid restrictions, they'll be no club stand, flags, gazebo or other usual niceties we would normally supply if it were a club event. However, if anyone happens to arrive before 9.30am, we can park up, socially distanced, in the same area, with no club affiliation, just with a common interest in cars and rotaries ;)
