Is Mazda or MazdaSpeed doing anything for the event ?

Is the club ?

Is this something best handled by the comittee to contact all other Mazda clubs in UK to see if we get enough numbers to get big enough pitch to get the prices down ? AND get some access to any Mazda events ???

OK - are we definately talking the proper Le Mans here of the Classic? I'm definately in for the proper Le Mans (plus one).

The last time I went with the club, the set up with Speed Chills at Beausejour was very good and I'd happily do the whole thing with them again.
There once was a man from Essex,
Who was potty over Mazda RXs.
He ordered an 8,
and had to wait,
But when it arrived, said "tis better than sex is".

Just so I can get a rough idea, what day do you normally go and come back and when do you start booking etc? For work purposes and all that.

We generally stay over in Ashford on the Wednesday evening, ferry/chunnel first thing Thursday, nice drive down to Le Mans get there for afternoon ish and travel back the following Monday. I book the Tuesday as well. Hope this helps.

Not for the 24Hr Chris.
We were in Ashford Tuesday night, crossed the Channel Wednesday morning.

The Classic is a day shorter, crossing on Thursday.

For both we travelled back on the Monday.

If there are enough people more local to Plymouth found two separate groups go and meet up in le mans???
This would save me personally a 700 mile round trip to ashford and two days extra travel.
Apologies if this steps on toes but finances and time are pressing on me and others.
If this is possible can we have 2 sticky lists one for each departure point.

Cheers Tom

SpeedChills opens at noon on the Wednesday (going by previous years)

The best pitches go to the first ones to arrive, especially if it's a large-ish group.

I beleive Speedchills did a deal for the club in previous years, reserving a large area for us all to group together. This really was the main advantage of going as a group and hopefully can be achived this year as well if enough of us are signed up,.
