It's on car events, I or the events team can send you a basically 100% discount code for a free ticket as a member and then your friend in mx5 just buys the standard individual ticket at 15.

It’s always best for people to post up when booked so an accurate list can be maintained
This allows the organisers to cater for numbers etc

Car events gives us a full breakdown and all details in an automated spreadsheet with ticket ref number etc. 21st century stuff now. We are tracking and can see who is coming and paid, member ticket etc.

As you all know this is our first japanese event that invites anyone who owns a JDM vehicle.

Getting our name out there isn’t easy, so we would love if the community could give us a hand in sharing our event to friends, family, facebook groups and so on. If we can get enough interest this time then we would like to make this a yearly thing!

If you’re a part of any communities for japanese cars, or have a mate who owns one it would be appreciated if you could share our event with them. The more interest the better!

The reason for asking.... my name was on the list before registering with the event organisers and although I've acquired a ticket there is no change in the status? On other events where you purchase a ticket, PAID is entered next to your name so you know you've been included. Maybe an acknowledgement like a tick would be suffice?

That’s a good point, personally I hate not having that sort of information at hand when i’ve signed up for an event. I’ll speak to the team and see what can be done about that, as details on carevents may not match up to member details which could complicate things.

As far as I am aware currently, all members other than Lebz who I just added are fully registered.

That’s usually just a temporally connection problem
Try it again and let us know if it still doesn’t work
People work hard behind the scenes to keep the forum working as smoothly as possible
