It is a bugger to get to, but like Croft it's worth it imo. I've been once, and agree that it suits the RX-8 well and deserves it's Nurburgring comparisons. It's been 5 years since we've had a day there with a good club turnout!

May be one to offer up again on either this years or next years list if there is interest.

Has anyone thought about organising a day at Cadwell Park, I've not done it personally but appears to be a track that would suit the Rx8 well, it is a little further up north and a bit of a bugger to get to, perhaps the reason why not on the list?
If you wanted to put something together I'm sure it'd be appreciated.

I know, time is a major factor!

I have been at Snetterton the last couple of years with the club, booked in at Croft & Snetterton with the club this year, so hopefully see you there :)

I have driven Cadwell twice and it has a great mix of corners, some with minimal run off and some downhill breaking for corners which really tests your skills.

I've done Cadwell 5 or 6 times. A lovely, if narrow, circuit with a great variety of corners and elevations. It is also sited in some lovely countryside.

Sadly, my budget for this year won't stretch to Cadwell, but I do recommend the track.

Cadwell is like Brands Hatch on steroids and I thoroughly recommend it.

Newbie here but I'd be up for Cadwell if the dates work. I've done loads of laps on a bike but never been round on four wheels. Be interesting to see how what feels like such a narrow track lends itself to four wheels. Never used the RX8 in anger either so that would be awesome!

The wife and I would definitely be up for Castle Coombe too if it was open to non-RX8s, as she has her own 'track' car. :thumleft:
