Track day@Blyton Park 8th of June 2024 £159 full day

Good evening boys and girls!
I will be hitting the track on the 8th of June at Blyton park.
Hopefully the weather will be great and we can meet a few more of us for chat,experience exchange and good times in general.
I will provide chairs,a tent and a toolbox
I also don't mind taking a passenger for those who want to experience the track without hurting their tyres

Track day starts 9am with sighting laps, then on at full speed until 12:30 when we get a one hour lunch break,then again full throttle until 5pm.
For those not familiar with Blyton,this is a good track,not too small,not too big and has been resurfaced this winter and some corners have been extended so the tarmac is fantastic.
Would recommend to turn up on a full tank as Blyton does not offer fuel services and closest petrol station is 5 miles away.

I booked my camping trip for the wrong time! So I won't be making it, it really is a great track I didn't know that it got resurfaced recently

Good day at Blyton Park yesterday with a bit of rain in the morning but nice and sunny after lunch time.
James took his time to come down and he brought some home made cheesecake as well
Car went fine except some minor issues i have discovered but nothing that cannot be sorten in a couple of hrs

That’s the track where my brakes failed and I went straight over the chicane. Fortunately it’s a very forgiving circuit with little to hit!! Will have to try it out again soon!!

It's very hard on brakes compared to most circuits. I turned all 4 pads to dust last time I visited, by doing a slightly longer than usual stint after lunch. Only 12 laps though.

I remember when you were doing your rear pads when we all went out the track on the club meet there?

I recall a couple of cars trying to stand on their nose in front of me, when we were there for the pre-AGM meet.

I nearly ran into the rear of one of them, until I worked-out which one's to avoid, to allow a good 10-20 mph faster apex speed.

There was far more grip on the corners than some would expect and, on good road tyres, the transition to oversteer was benign and rewarding.
