This event is being run by Circuit Days, who always provide a good fun day, at one of my favourite circuits, due to it's great variety of corners, from a tight hairpin to Coram, a 90mph+ bend that goes on forever

Highly recommended getting an trackday fix once again at this fantastic track

Dinner Monday Evening

For those of us choosing to stay for Dinner after the trackday, I will book a table for 5.45pm for us all here:

Which is a family run pub situated at Larling, less than 4 miles away, just off the next southbound junction on the A11 after we leave Snetterton. We have eaten at this place a few times in the past and they have always looked after us very well.

Given the size of our group, they will probably like pre-orders for food so this year we will require a £20.00 deposit in advance to guarantee your food order, so as we aren't left with a bill for food ordered, but not consumed, because you can no longer make it at short notice
I will send out a PM (or email if not on the forum) to everyone dining about a week beforehand to get your orders. So, no rush, but you might wish to peruse the menu here in advance:

Thanks everyone for welcoming my old school buddy, Bob, and for making the day so enjoyable for us both. Special thanks also to Wayne, for the loan of a spare helmet for Bob

Sadly, Bob was feeling unwell after a 15 minute passenger session with me (my awful driving obviously!), so I decided to call it a day after lunch.

I was happy enough though, as I had a great late morning session trying to lose Pat behind me, then letting him through and hanging on to his tail as best I could. I think we were lapping in very similar times. Here's a lap where I'm chasing behind Pat....Happy with 2m25.16 - a new PB (by a few tenths of a second!). That's with the new suspension not yet fully set up - ride height is 2-3cm too high, waiting for springs to settle. I could feel an immediate difference with the new Tein MonoSport coilovers though - the turn in was so much sharper than with my tired (14 year old) Tein MonoFlex coilovers - replaced due to two broken springs. The springs were on the same side of car. I suspect a pothole killed them as I had a recent bang as I went over one on the poor Essex roads

There were 2 oil spills in the afternoon, one the whole way round Coram and the second compromised Oggies and Williams. So the track got slippery in the afternoon. At least you got the best of it in the morning.

Thanks Haydn. There's a likely chance that the Oggies and Williams one was me. Having looked at my cabin GoPro footage, that seems to be where my oil pressure took an immediate drop.

I gather the one around Coram was worse, so hopefully that means that my own incident didn't contribute much to the track closure time, but my apologies to everyone for any disruption or compromised driving.
