What an “ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC “ day
Impeccable events coordination from Casey and Ian Mothersole ( thank you very much )
It was a real pleasure to be there with our club, Nick D and the marshals did us proud
The meal afterwards with the crowd was also “ Fantastic. “ it’s been a while since I attended this event
Can we have more events like this please

This was Mercedes first ever track day and she was so nervous she almost wet herself
I chose this track to take her virginity because of the atmosphere and organisation by MOT
You can drive this track quickly using only 3rd and 4th gears with only 5 corners to learn
The novice session at the beginning is a great help
( and yes I did take her round myself without using the brakes to show you don’t have to be aggressive
She had the best day of her life , turned into an animal ( nothing to do with me ) explored the rumble strips ( a little too much at times ) got black flagged for been too loud at 10,000 Revs and put in the sin bin
She thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere , the club members, the smell of burning brakes and demoting me to second place on the podium
She now thinks the car is hers and I should pay for at least 10 trackdays per year

THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE !!!!

Now that I have finally recovered all the adrenaline I would like to really thank those involved in organising this event and day.

It ran absolutely perfectly and made my first time just the most pleasurable experience.
The cake was beautiful and the sentiment behind it was just such a beautiful touch.
The marshalls absolutely made my day they were so friendly, chatting to me in the pits and on the start line, helping me ease my nerves before going out, they even took pics of me on the podium and let me use the signature race flag
They made me feel so special for my birthday.

Can we do these events every weekend please?

The only person that could have made this any better is if Christine had been there to tell me I did well as I would have believed it then.

The weather gods were with us and the track just wanted it.

I would highly recommend this track for a first timer!!
It was smooth and easy to get to grips with, not too many corners and not too many gear shifts means you can really see a difference as you get quicker through the day, of course this makes the experience that little bit more, with some really lovely areas you can eat the curb on.
That's until you get told to keep her under 8k for being too noisy.
