Still not sure whether to do this, or whether instead to cadge some passenger rides. I’m a bit of a chicken sh*t when it comes to risking damage to my car!!

You really ought to do the novice session Andy. It's a great opportunity to get a taste and decide if you want to do more. I can't say there isn't a risk, but neither is driving on the road! Damage to cars on trackdays is pretty rare in my experience, especially on days like ours, where it's only club members and drivers invited by Nick Dougill.

If I opt for the novice session, can I still go on the track in the morning? (with a passenger providing guidance would be awesome!)

I’m not experienced by any means and I had amazing day at blyton rotary day with the rx7 club
There was 5 cars at the time also when you see them coming you just move over on the straight and they pass by
How Casey said there is not lunatics like public car show sessions.
I’m looking forward for October just take it up to your own pace and enjoy

The Novice Session is aimed at someone who doesn't normally do trackday's, but just wants a taster to what it's like to be on track in a controlled environment

Jason I would strongly advise booking the whole day for £140 and just drive at your own pace, anotherwards go as fast as you want or as slow as you like and just remember to obey the overtaking rules

This is a lovely track to drive and recently ie last year had new tarmac laid around the circuit along with a a few raised edges to stop you cutting corners

This will be my 10th time on this fantastic track , having driven it in the Mazda 3 MPS, Mazda RX-8 R3 and Toyota GT86 in the past and this time it will be in the Tesla M3LR AB instead

There is a maximum of 50 cars on the day and we as a club have to fill 25 places , but we can also take some more places off Mazda On Track, so obviously the more places we fill the more exclusive this event becomes

Please take me off the list. I’m tying my attendance at the annual meet into a chance to meet my daughter who is based in Hull. I’d hoped to squeeze in the track session but now can’t due to another commitment in Sheffield on Saturday. Sorry guys.

I need to get or borrow a tester as I don't think I'll pass 105db at the mo :-/

They don't do static at Blyton. I've done various RX7 and rotary track days there and don't remember anyone having noise issues. Many FDs would give the Braptor a run for its money in the ear bleeding stakes.
