This was the track we booked for the 2020 Annual Meet, so some of you will be familiar with the location and layout. It's a small and tight circuit, which is ideally suited to test the handling of RX-8's.
This is an great opportunity for anyone who would like to take their car on a track for the first time, but feel daunted by the prospect of a public trackday at one of the big circuits. This will be a closed event with plenty of experienced RX-8 track drivers on hand to offer advice. For experienced drivers, it's got a wide range of corners to play with and technically challenging to link the corners and put in a good lap.

Ideally, this would be an exclusive club event, but we may invite a few guest drivers that we know from other trackdays around the UK, if we need to make up the numbers.
Only 10 cars are permitted on track at any one time, so to reduce queuing we would only book 30 cars onto the day/
The dates we have been offered are:
Sunday 20th March 2022 = approx. £160.00 per car for club members
If we, as a club, are to commit to this event, we would require payments by the end of August 2021. Your money would then be held by the club whilst we finalise the contract with Motorsport Circuit Management Ltd, who run the circuit.
We have a local hotel in mind and could negotiate terms with them if there is enough commitment from everyone for overnight accommodation before/after the event.
Please click on the poll for your preferred date or both dates if you aren't fussed on which one. Please respond to the other questions too, so we get an idea of your preferences.
Many thanks everyone.
