The PCM controls the OMP depending on engine revs and load.

It should use exactly the same amount of oil, with or without a Sohn, and either way the consumption goes up massively on track, and can be even more so if you've had a mini-map that adjusts the OMP delivery rate.

The benefits of the Sohn are even greater on track;
- avoids any need to try and manage the engine oil level, which can risk over-fill or starvation
- much wider choice of oil for engine, including synthetics.
- clean burning oil for OMP
- simple confirmation that the OMP is taking oil, as tank level drops and is topped-up

Of course, the above would also apply to a COFS ;)

Assuming no clutch slip, the standard S1 6-speed 'box, and 225/45 tyres, that's just under 130 mph.

Same as we're hitting, trying not to lift-off, for Debtors at Kirkistown :D
