Video time (Thanks Nigel for unlocking the thread). This took longer than expected due to me accidentally having the GoPro in a mode that disabled image stabilisation. Fixing that in software is quite a slow task. Anyway enjoy.

Great footage Alan. That Terminal Velocity car just caught up to me at the wrong time and I'd lost all my momentum so I thought I'd let you by, but had I know you were filming I would have fought harder and stayed in front to get some vid time!.

Was behind you for all of that last session, need to get a gopro installed, so I can put up some footage for your viewing pleasure one day, but I think it will take me a while till I get your skills in video editing. The translucent view of you steering is a great touch!

Thanks. I watched your video and the Driver 61 guide to the circuit before hand, which certainty helped me to learn it quicker

It's a bit of a shame that the afternoon was so disrupted, as I felt that I was just starting to get used to the track at that point, and finally starting to put good laps together. That lap in the video was about 2s quicker than my next fastest lap, even with the little slide through Coppice. I think I could have carried quite a bit more speed through the Craners, but having seen enough videos of people spinning out of them, I was being a bit cautious. Also I felt that I never did that well on my entry into McLeans.

The Rainsports have been paying for themselves during the December track days. Although Donny was grippier than Brands, it was still rather slippy! After my re-alignment and softening the dampening at Brands the car feels pretty good, although I could do with re-visiting Mallory on a dry day just to be sure...
