I booked this yesterday
I realised today that the drive by sound test is 87.5 which is quite low
That’s same as thruxton and I failed it there

I've not been there since I've changed my exhaust to the single exit...I know they are strict as well even though they are out in the middle of nowhere.
I've got 2 exhaust solutions at the moment. A turn down pipe and a Merlin motorsport add-on muffler...hopefully i'll make it.

My PZ has a 200 cell sport cat with a Toyo sport cat back.

Keen to know if anyone with a similar set up has had issues at Bedford?

Would hate to get there and fail.

I was given a headsup at the static noise test that I may be close on the drive limit running a HKS Legamax and a Ghetto decat.
Apparently the mics that catch people out are on the corner by the cafeteria and also near to the pit entrance at the end of the last straight.

Have some dashcam footage, around 10 minutes in I got a warning from a marshell when overtaking the blue BMW when I got back into the pits, I think as long as you're in a group of cars then you should be ok noise wise if it triggers.

Yes I reckon it was the gear down and acceleration on the corner exit before you passed the BMW :D Great video :thumleft:

Nice meeting you guys too! I have to go with you for a drive post covid! I have to see where you got all the speed from. I eventually broke into the 3:04 as I was having a battle with an mx5 ...

I actually lowered the tyre pressure and it gripped so much more for me... those tyres stay sticky for longer!

Yep
Not flagged once although I think brad was .
Strange , as I did at thruxton which half decibel less .
I did take some bolt on downpipes but thankfully never needed them .
