The Peugeot is over a 100 years old and the Aston is gorgeous the man that owns it bought it in the 70s for no money he also has a collection of cars that are over 100 years old the tr and mk2 are immaculate.it’s always good conversation with the old guys and I feel privileged to know them.

It is a 1973 gardener Dax with a rover v8 and 4 Weber down draft carbs,it sounds and goes really well,but the rover 5speed box is a pig,
I do not like being in it as it is like being Mauled by a tiger the wind comes from every were

Hi
It was the first proper car meet at surgeres this morning,it was nice to sit outside the cafe and drink coffee in the sun.
The cafe owner was saying it was his first day of trading this year ,there was lots of cars and people it nearly looked like a normal summer Sunday,my favorite car was this lancia.car meets and track days should come on a regular basis now .

Speed monster has put some of its dates up for next year ,Le Mans on March 11 is tempting as my birthday is on the 14 th so would be a nice birthday present and a very good test for the car.hopefully COVID will not spoil next years track days as it did for me this year.

I am sorry to say it is cold and raining just like Wales,
I am trying to finish building a garage for a customer before Christmas it is not looking good.

I have just booked the annual boy’s weekend to the Pau Grand Prix on the 6,7,8 of may .the world touring cars are the main event this year so should be a great atmosphere,some thing to look forward to as it has not run for two years and with the classic Le Man in July things are getting back to normal.
The Pau Grand Prix should be on everyone’s bucket list so much history.

The track day season goes not start until March here so my first track day is the 27 March will be my first of the year and will be a shake down for the black car.

I have just booked the first track day of the year,I will be sharing the car with Grant so we can give it a good shake down and sort out some set up.I will have to take lots of tools and spares as I have no idea how it will go.
I really enjoy this circuit and have a reference.

The circuit is about 1hour 40 south of me on the way to Bordeaux so quite handy,I like it as it is a flowing circuit with no stop start corners,it suits the Rx8 to it also has a lot of height change in a lap.there usually only about 40 cars so rarely feel over crowded.

I think that is a Porsche club run,I believe they go for a drive out to the circuit do a couple of parade laps take some photos and go home,because as we all know they are not good track cars,or is that the drivers

TRACKDAY Spa-Francorchamps F1 Circuit - ***Friday 11th November 2022*** £379

I will probably book spa but not yet,my only concern for November is ice and snow,it is an expensive trip so the thought of going to an icy spa is a worry.
