So Bedford SEN was a blast...was extremely windy but I really enjoyed it.
Could really try and push my car within my limits.
Had the rainsports tyres on.
I think I did a best time of around 2:01.

Today I did a few laps at Lydden Hill.
Short but fun
I think the best time of around 52.5.

Met 2 RX8 owners out on the track.

Really happy with car... The rear tyres were a bit loose on the slower corners but gripped better on faster ones.
Not sure if they are just old
The front grip was solid though.
Had a good few scraps with few Mini cooper s...ford fiesta st...type R...350z...
Impressed with the little RX...

Also was told today that it was a new rule to wear gloves... Anyone else heard about this?

The circuit director has changed so they probably brought in the new rule. Bedford is independent so it'll only apply to that track unless it was brought in by the TDO e.g. Javelin.

It's a good rule IMO. The first bit of track day kit I bought after a helmet was gloves. They really help with steering wheel grip. They're just a pain to roll down every time you have to display a wristband!

Glad you had a good day :thumleft:

Some circuits only require gloves in open-topped cars, though I never really understood, unless it's in case you get hit on the hand but flying gravel, or a wasp

Some also require long sleeves, no t-shirts.

Every part of my body had to be covered today... In this heat...
What is the reasoning behind covering legs and arms and now gloves...
Is it to prevent glass cuts?
I can't see normal clothes preventing anything in a case of fire...

Ok.
The weird thing is that they didn't say it on their website.
I would still like to know the reasoning behind being covered neck to toe.
I could understand having fireproof overalls... As they do a specific job.
