^^^TRACKDAY Cadwell Park - Saturday 14th December £99^^^

Post by GreySilver Beast » Mon Mar 18, 2019 9:27 pm

Cadwell Park Trackday with OpenTrack
Cadwell Park, for anyone new, is a circuit in Lincolnshire, set in beautiful location with lots of green grass and trees surrounding the track.

This event is organised by OpenTrack, this is a full Open Pit Lane day for just £99 - that's an INCREDIBLY good price for Cadwell :D. I recommend people book quickly, as this has been on sale since Boxing Day 2018 and are likely to sell out well in advance on the link shown below.

To sweeten the deal, FREE instruction is also included in the price (normally £25).

If you're a newcomer to track days then this is a very well managed and marshaled event. Many people have gained an appreciation of track days here on this circuit in the rolling British countryside - most are now enjoying regular track days and digging deep into their pockets after having being seduced by Cadwell. Don’t say you haven’t been been warned! Newcomers to trackdays are very welcome.

The day consists of a briefing and slow sighting laps behind a lead car to familiarise yourself.

A reminder from our 2012 visit

It has been over eight years since I last raced at Cadwell, might be time to reacquaint myself with this venue.

Lincolnshire in December is going to be infinitely worse than Brands Hatch in December me thinks  .

And why have we still got Christmas smiley's :?:

I might have to agree with Ray about the “worse” comment; have had two really bad crashes in my career both at Cadwell, both in the rain, both entering the mountain section; 1993 crashed my 500cc Yamaha when the front washed out (that hurt but nothing broken) and then in 2010 crashed my 911 GT3 RS avoiding a spinning Ferrari during a testing session (no injuries but cost me a fortune to get the car repaired). Not my favourite circuit
