A quick update on the RX 8 Trophy

Its been manic getting the car ready for the first test on 22nd March.
Unfortunately only 2 RX8's made it to the test day, one not quite finished and had a blowing exhaust after the first test session, and our car destroyed the cheep fitted clutch [ and damaged the flywheel !] in the second session!

We manage to get it all fixed for the first race again at the Snetterton 300 on the 6th April. [ A big thanks to Reese @ TPS who attacked the car and got it fixed in 2 days]! - New decent clutch and new flywheel!!

We did make it to Classic Sports Car Club New Millennium race as one of 4 RX8's. All cars started and all finished! We came 3rd in class with our new novice driver Joe, who had a total of 20 mins in the car before practice, then only 20 mins of practice before his first race!!

Next race is at Silverstone on Sunday May 5th on the International Circuit - we hope there should be 10 RX8's out there so should be a bit more fun.

In car footage of Practice and Race can be found on either our YouTube Chanel or on our Facebook page.- Lightwork Racing

I hope to see some of you at the next couple of races.

We are at Oulton Park on Bank Holiday Monday 27th May
Spa Franochamps 29th & 30th June [we unfortunately are currently not doing this round]
Anglesey 20th or 21st July [we unfortunately are currently not doing this round]
Brands Hatch 26th August
Thruxton 22nd September
Donnington Park 27th September - including a night race! and televised for digital channel!!!

We hope to see some of you there - please come and say hello....we are always up for a chat about cars!!!

I wenclose a couple of photos of the car
