^^Nice driving slimreaper, and sounds good too =D>

We've got a 2m26s already on the list for Snett 300, and remember this is not a competition, merely indicative times to give a rough reference point so people know what ought to be achievable. As such, a 2m25.01s and 2m25.99s laps are both rounded up to 2m26s under the "rules" of this topic.

I honestly can't see from the low sun and camera position the exact time of your lap, but very happy to see you are lapping at around the currently logged 2m26s. I can't confirm the time is a 2m25.00s or quicker, so will leave the reference time of 2m26s in place.

Yeah, it was an evening session and the sun was so low, I didn't think to adjust the light metering on the camera before I went out. When i frame by framed it in premier pro I could just about make out the start finish line disappearing under the bonnet,

I'm working on putting the time on the overlay, but my time from JDMCombe was 1:25.5

R3 Running standard engine, decat and Yoko AD08Rs.

My optimal was a 1:23.4 according to RaceChrono (looked at after the session :thumleft: ), but obviously that's not achieved :P

Means I have a lot to work on driving wise as it can't just be the weight that caused me to run 5-6 seconds slower than the existing indicative time :P

Yesterday at Mallory Park, I managed a 61.4 second lap.

Conditions: Dry, semi-cloudy, about 20 degrees.
Driver: A shaved ape doing his first ever track day.
Car: 231 PZ OEM apart from decat. 4 mis-matched ditchfinders for tyres.

On one of the front screens Lap Times I think then you just scroll down. It's all a bit hit & miss as I don't have a manual for the app.
EDITED:: the images have come out blurred and in reverse order on the iPad but hopefully you can follow the route with the highlighted dots

A combination of finger trouble and brain fade meant that my first two sessions at Kirkistown yesterday went unrecorded.

One of the guys was doing (unofficial) trackside timing on his iphone and told me that my fastest was lap 3 on the second session @ 1 minute 8. something seconds, which he rated as "quite good". This was one of the only 4 laps when I managed to just hit the beep in 4th before braking for the hairpin and was hard on the limiter in 4th at the end of the start/finish "not-straight".

By the end of the second session the synchro on 4th was complaining and for all the later sessions I was having to give at least a significant pause on the 3rd-4th upshift. By the last laps of the day it needed a double-declutch otherwise it wouldn't select at all.

My in-car footage of one of the later sessions is way slower.

Tried to find the timing guy at the end of the day but he's already left.

I don't know his name but I'm hoping that he'll share the data somewhere, so I can grab the evidence.

Nordschleife BTG (12.9 miles)
8:48

16 October 2017
231 Street Port.
PZ suspension, a bit of weight reduction.
Nankang NS2-R semi slicks on rears - Hankook Road tyres on front.

Muchos room for improvement with me and the car. 8:40 without traffic etc apparently. Wouldn't take much to bring that down to 8:35 either I bet.
