Too make things a little less chaotic as we arrive I have allocated garages to everyone who requested a share.

We have 6 garages to share in a block, plus I have asked Nick to tack one 2 pre-paid for garages for Pete (Nutty_Chappie), making an 8 garage block.

Nick will, most likely, label the 6 shared garages with "RX-8 OC" (or Malcolm Case, or similar) on the doors. As you arrive from the direction of the control tower, the garages will be numbered from 1 upwards.

Taking the FIRST garage (lowest number) as "N", can you please use the garages as follows:

N - CNWilson, Foremanator
N+1 - Nickp47, Paeon, Mpv2k3
N+2 - casey, IanM
N+3 - Seanp, MightyCondor, SteveG
N+4 - Nigel, Matt, ChrisH
N+5 - Tassaman, Tassaman's friend (TVR)

At least you know where to head for and unload any gear. Don't get too possessive about "your" garage as the day progresses. If your garage is full and you urgently need to do some work on your car, consider using another garage. We are all there to share the day and garages together.

Ian and I will set up a refreshments table in garage N+2, with kettles, tea, coffee, mik, water, sugar and a few snacks.

Please bring your own mug if you can, but there will be some available.

Feel free to bring some snacks to share with the group

It you have not already registered online, please do so as it will save a lot of time on the day.

Don't forget to bring your Driving Licence!

Dear Drivers,

Currently over 30% of drivers and passengers have yet to complete the Sign-On / Registration form on the MSV website.

Morning Sign-On admin is by far the busiest part of the day, and its smooth progress is important. If Registration is completed ahead of time, Sign-On is a simple procedure, just requiring driving licence checks. If you arrive at the desk and have not completed this, Jesus will weep and Kittens will die. (You will also have to go outside to complete it) Please save the Kittens and complete this ahead of time.

I will also send an email with no link, just in case you have a stupid email system that rejects emails with links, or you never, ever look in your junk folder.

It will tell you to go to the MOT Trackdays website and then the Brands event where there is a link to Sign-On.

Please also, ensure any additional drivers or passengers have this link too, we can’t send it direct, we only have your email.

Remember your diving licence. There has been an email about that.

Finally, if you want to book extras on the day, please bring cash, it is far easier than paying through the website, which is what you will have to do if not.

Many thanks Malcolm (and Nickd) for the superb as usual annual pilgrimage which I managed to make it to, with a now much better sorted car than last year!

Despite the slightly slippy and 'not-quite-wet' cold and semi-drying track - huge fun all day and I managed more sessions / laps and even passenger rides (Thanks Chris H) than before. (of course more fuel, tyres & brake wear comes with it! ).

I'm as stuffed as the turkey was after the superbly organised dinner at a great venue!

Do distracted by the driving and passenger ride- I managed without a solitary photo!

Hoping somebody has evidence of my apparent mega-flamage and I'll have the evidence to go with the two Annual Meet awards I have for this category!
