It's not looking great after today. I had a parcel from Auto Silicon Hoses that Scott needs to plumb in the Koyo that was supposed to arrive yesterday on next day delivery. It still hasn't arrived, and if it doesn't early tomorrow, then that's the purple car ruled out. ****** Evri.

The PZ isn't happy either. Having tried 4 different replacement front o2 sensors, I think we can conclude that that isn't the problem.

If I were to put some decent pads in it, it would probably be excellent on track. Even if it wasn't too late to fix that, I can't risk the daily car.

Does anyone want my room at the Thetford Premier Inn for Sunday night?

I can't cancel it, and am not going to amend it to September as they want an extra £100 for that night for some crazy reason. Would rather see someone get some use out of it, than waste the £36 entirely.

So sorry to hear this news Alan :( . I was looking forward to seeing you on Monday.

Due to my weekend plans, I have to travel up on Monday morning, so sadly can't make use of your hotel offer.

I hope you can get your cars sorted soon.

Car all packed and ready. Weather looking great!

I have Garage 1, with Tom in Garage 2.

I'll aim to be there about 7.30am to unload and set up the refreshments table. Tea, coffee, water, Diet Pepsi and a few snacks available, FOC.

Looking forward to seeing everyone and to having a great day.

Just sad that Alan is unable to join us.

Enjoy tomorrow everyone.

I was a bit hasty in selling my place and regret it now, but wasn't to know that the PZ would be fixed on Friday.

Make sure you all book Curborough, as that will be the purple car's resurrection event.

Yup , shame you’re not going Alan as you’re always a good comparison.
I’ve just been and loaded up the car etc , early start hoping to get there about 8.30 so will try and park up near garage 1/2.

I think everyone enjoyed the day. Great weather, no queuing to get on track, minimal stoppages and generally good track etiquette made for an excellent day, both on track and around our garages.

It was a lovely surprise to see Pete Stevens turn up with his "Formula Women" RX-8, with newly installed turbo too! With slicks on, it was an impressive package, even running currently on low boost and needing some further mapping.

Great also that Hadyn and Carl Ryan took the time to pop by to socialise with the group.

No major issues with any of the cars, at least none to stop the track fun.

There was plenty of socialising between track stints too.

A very enjoyable day for me, topped by 3x sub 2m 24s laps in my last session, setting a new PB in my 20 year old wagon :D

I'll pop a video up later.

Everything aligned well yesterday, great weather, minimal flags on track, plenty of people to chat to and my MX-5 behaved itself on its first time out, a good day all round.

I Will probably go again on the September date as I think there’s a fair bit more time to gain.

Great to catch up with everyone as it’s been a while. Had a great day, as Malcolm said car is running currently on a low boost setting more mapping needed 👍 Glad to see everyone’s car made it through the day with no issues. I’m hoping to do Croft and Snetterton again with you all. Carl timed me on one lap with a 2min 19 seconds.
