I'm thinking about preventing battery drain by trickle charge. I would also worry about pests, corrosion and brake binding. Are there any other major concerns and mitigations?

any suggestions ? I'm guessing a capacitive 2 wire type will suit ? is the circuit normally open or closed to turn on the light ?

I do remember reading somewhere on here that installing polyurethane bushings...

The black bracket. The corrosion under the paint suggests it's old. I don't remember ever seeing this on an R3 and I don't think it belongs where it's fitted there.

Hi guys, I gave my car a good thrash a month ago then it’s just sat on the drive, but I noticed there’s a little (15cm dia) oil stain on the drive near the diff.
