the wheels were crap so were the front tyres (autoguard) so i put my spare winter set on there 17 with winter tyres wow what a diff , noise ride and roadholding . Has anyone else gone down to 17 ...if so any pics

My car came with a de-cat exhaust, but I don't know which one. I do know however that it is blowing slightly and missing a gasket.

I imagine the gasket is exhaust-specific so how do I go about finding one?

Help! Need some advice before taking car (R3) to Mazda main dealer

Had starting issue - think I flooded it as battery was flat, almost got it going with jump start + de-flooding procedure, but no luck.

Breakdown recovery also failed to get it going, so car recovered to my local garage, who did...

Just after some noob advice, on the main engine cover ;

So as I'm being a good, new RX8 owner and checking my oil level very regularly, it's a bit of a (minor) hassle taking the engine cover off and on.

Does anyone just leave theirs off? Is it safe to do so, or a no no?

as far I know there is no good source about this subject.
for s1 best is to use original design and replace it with airbag switch, and transfer airbag switch somewhere less like glove box or so.

I have four Vresestein 225/45 ZR 18 95Y on my RX8 230. (Had car since new on 2004!)
It has failed its MOT as the front offside tyre has two cuts.
I don't want to have to replace all the tyres, or even 2.
I can't find the Vresestein 225/45 ZR 18 95Y anywhere.

I read in a couple of places that post-2006 RX8s are more reliable than pre-2006 models.
Is that correct? What are the changes? I'm not referring to the gen2 Renesis engine.

Whats the general consensus on the airbox tray? Is there a reason to leave it in if you have an AEM CAI? Does it help provide protection from underneath? Does it help guide cool air to the right places or is it better off to help air get other places?
