When I first fire it up it sounds very rough. After letting it idle for a bit, there's a faint whine that changes pitch and then suddenly it's ok. It doesn't do it on a hot start. Something air pump or choke related?

Was able to connect with various Phone apps no problem, however everytime I have the OBD2 reader plugged in the Traction control light on the dash is showing and wont disapear until the ignition is restarted with the OBD2 reader...

So my 2006 S1 wouldn't start yesterday out of the blue and after an attempted recharge it was still dead this morning. Having checked the history, it appears that the battery was fitted in Feb 2016, so despite the low mileage, i'd say that was a pretty good life span.
