The engine has been fitted brand new in 2021.
It has covered some14k miles of being driven very hard,26 track days and many many drive outs.
After this usage i am very satisfied with the results.
No idea what it was when it was new,did not bother to test back then.

Although the best way to change the oil in an Rx8 is a subject already treated, it is always in the air to extract the oil from the coolers.

The method of tilting the car left and right helps to extract the oil remaining in the ducts, but it does not manage to eliminate the liter of oil...

Just wondered what the deal is reliability wise between s1 and r3 generations as there is a big gap price wise even compensating for condition.

I'm aware the r3 has a different OMP and extra oil injector for apex seal lubrication but heard they suffer from side seal lubrication/failure...

Took the car for a drive on Friday night and all of a sudden the battery warning light came on. Looking at my little gauge, the voltage started fluctuating.
