Well what a day today has been from the OC......

Having spent 4 years as Chairman, and dedicating vast amounts of time to the club to ensure everyone benefited from events and good times, through some turmoil and other happy and fond memories of time spent with good people having great adventures,...

Hi,
I’m not leaving but let my membership lapse.
Paid my fee via PayPal on 02 November but my status is still EX Member so can not look up in the members only section mainly wiring.

I’ve sent a few requests out but nothing yet.
Could someone reinstate my membership and delete this post when...

So today is officially my last day running this business, it’s had its ups and downs but has always been fun. So as the title after today I will be permanently closed. My insurance expires today. I still have parts to sell just not got round to sorting them just yet. Thanks for having me and I’ll...

Sad day, the rust finally caught up with my car and it would have cost too much to fix (what with that and the front seal leaking) so it's gone.

Big thanks to Reece at The Performance Shop who has been very fair and taken it off my hands - it will not be going back on the road.

A 2017 Nissan Juke...

Yes, it's been that long and seen 3 different RX-8s but finally decided not to renew this year, Difficult to justify cost as don't do meets these days and track days are behind me as at my age, my back tells me not to go round corners quickly. Have enjoyed being part of the club and, apart from one...

Hi all,

Some weeks back the PZ was written off. Damage was minimal but the timing sucked as I’ve just moved and very busy with work and was considering selling up soon anyway so couldn’t warrant keeping it and getting it repaired.

Hope it lives on, rust wise wasn’t in bad shape. Had some mods...

Decided to leave the forum as I've not been using it much these days and when I do I find not much of interest. Farewell to the members that I've met and had enjoyable days and evenings with over the years.
Goodbye

I’ve decided to leave the Club.
It feels different, less relaxed, or to be fair maybe I just feel differently about things.
It’s been a tough year, my heart is with my wife and her family in Ukraine. It’s less on my car and car things.
I’ve also got, and have had for some time, the ‘wrong car’. The...

As posted in rx8 discussion I waved goodbye to my RX-8

Now Jess is deciding what the money is spent on

Not fond of saying goodbyes , but my RX8 journey has came to an end, couple of reasons, but nothing I'll go into. I spent far too much, but when you become emotional about a car , it's a roller coaster of a journey. Was extremely difficult seeing the car drive away as was my...

Evening

Recently I said goodbye to my RX8 40th Anniversary. I was the custodian for nearly 4 years and I can honestly say that I loved every minute of it. I sold her to a nice guy from Aberdeen, and I wish him all the best with her.

When I changed my job, the company car list with my new company...

Hi. As you may all know, I sold my Rx8 S1 to SPB2002 last year. Now my membership is up for renewal, it's time to say goodbye. I really don't see myself owning another RX8, so there's no point in me continuing the membership, that's not to say that I won't keep in touch with the great people I've...

Tomorrow represents a bittersweet day for me, as I trade in my beloved rx8 of 13 years for a new car (VW Golf GTI Performance Pack). Some of the more longer standing members who are still here may remember my adventures through two diy rebuild threads, which did not dampen my spirit for the car....

I've gone over to the darkside now and passed my 'A' bike license and got myself a Kawasaki ZX9R Ninja and been totally spoiled by 140BHP on a 185kg machine (756 BHP/ton!!!)

Its been fun being in the rotary world, cost me lots of money but the smiles per miles is incredible...

Just selling the last bits of the car and that'll be me done for mazdas for a bit. We've had three rx8s and enjoyed them all but they're not representing enough of a risk to my wallet and sanity so I'm buying an old boxster 3.2 s.

Thanks very much for all the advice over the time I've been here....
