Some members are forced to run other cars for various reasons, thus unable to enjoy the awesomeness of the RX-8 everyday. :(
If you've had to change rotary, or worse, moved away from rotaries all together, then I guess we could still be interested in what you have to endure as...
Picked up a Mazda 2 1.5L Sport 5 door in the lovely blue colour (also on some MX-5s I believe :-k). Not perfect by any means, has it's fair share of bruises and bumps around the edges, but mechanically sound/maintained and came with some extra goodies :p  140 mile...
So, it’s been a while since I have posted, however, the RX8 is in one piece and is getting closer to actually working. However in the meantime I may have had a rush of blood to the head and done something a little foolish.
Tomorrow I pick up this. (Spy shot at the dealers today as it is charging...
So, long story short, a friend was selling his dad’s car as he was now too frail to drive it. He posted on various local sites with only a couple of limited interest in the car and after three weeks I asked if it was sold, the answer being no!
The car in question is a 2007 Hyundai coupe siii 2.0....
Not got it yet so all I can show are computer generated build pictures from the configurator, but put an order in at Porsche for the new 718 Cayman GTS 4.0L flat 6 Naturally Aspirated paired with a manual gearbox.
My feeling was this will probably be one of the last times you get to own and order...
Evening all, my 2.8 Capri reached it's 40th birthday on the 1st of August so should be tax and mot exempt. I would be very grateful for any advise about registering it as such, ie, how do i implement these changes.
Going forward, i will probably mot it as usual, but the tax saving would offset the...
Hi guys,
Some of you may know I've been looking for a 25th Anniversary edition for a while now and I'm delighted to say I picked up this little beauty last Thursday in the UK :D
Brought her back on Saturday and I'm loving it.She only had 15k miles on her and is in great condition bar a few stone...
I collected the new family wagon today. It's the high 'S' spec with 44,000 miles already on the clock and is the diesel engine which has an updated AJD Lion V6 variant with 296hp and 700nm of torque.
The list of features is long, so I won't add it here now, but it ticks every wishlist box that I...
So noticed on the family eurobox that it seems to have developed a judder when pulling away from stationary.
Most noticeable against an incline.
Its a 1.6 d manual and pretty Torquey although it is a big ish 7 seater {older style pig 5008)
We've had it over two years so something definitely not...
Guess I should make a thread for the wife's favourite bus as it's bound to pop up on the stand at some point...
She's a 2.4 4 banger CVT on about 100k, lowered with RSR springs and on some JDM Warwick wheels before we got it. We've since added a sunstrip (which she wants to change now apparently!)...
I finally got time to snap a few photos. Here they are of my new car which identifies as a 2019 V8 Camaro ZL1 in black!
I decided to get another runabout to save the R3 from life as my daily. With parts getting more expensive and harder to find I've decided to treat that more as a classic car to...
Looking to acquire a new family friendly vehicle in the next couple of months, not to replace the RX8. Basically I like everything about the new Mazda CX-60, but can't afford one and will wait until their depreciation curve improves.
I've got a £25k budget. So would appreciate suggestions from...
The bus company I work for have just taken delivery of the first few of nearly 50 EV public transport buses, and to keep my hand in for the future I’ve been selected to carry out the full certified training to work on the a/c d/c systems .
Rubber gloves on order .
MOT & brake pad warning light reset after fitting a new set of Brembo brake pads.
The wear indicators would not clip into the new pads. Time for a word with ECP methinks.
15% discount on parts and labour at Cotswold BMW.
Dear All, I bought aftermarket LED rear lights for my wife’s Evoque. The lacquer is peeling off one of them leaving lines. You can rub off the peeling lacquer with your thumb but the line just re-appears further down and the light is dull underneath where it has peeled off from.
The last car standing feels like it's about to fall apart. It's a Zafira B and when braking there is a judder from the front, the steering wheel pulls left and right with high frequency and the car feels like it's braking, then not, then braking resulting in a forward / backward lurch...
So ive now bought a second car off a mate, mainly to save it from being squashed and so the wife can get any parts she needs for her bus off it! Its a 2000 X reg Toyota Previa 2.4 Auto with 200XXX miles to its name. Its just out of mot but not sure if i should fix it as its only got a towing...
Well i only got my RX8 around 2-3 month ago now. however i have been driving 90's Jap cars a while, and as my wife call's it, my Fleet is now at 10 car's one Bike.

Some of you may remember I had an old Black Volvo V70 D5 - actually I had two!! These served me very well, cheap and chugged through my fortnightly 500 mile round trips to my mum’s as well as being full...
So my company leased 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid ends in March and I've opted to take the car allowance instead, rather than getting another one, as i dislike the quietness of it, especially when braking.
So now i need to consider getting another car to replace it with and i have no clue what to...
Hi
I am going to view a Citroen c3 ,5 cv from 1922 as I am looking to buy a prewar car,I have two friends who are very knowledgeable about this type of car,the car is in a small collection so hopefully it is not a basket case.
I am pretty green when it comes to cars this old.
The reason for wanting...
Having three thirsty cars in ownership is not an easy task especially when you do 30 miles a day at a minimum so i have no issues with EV's due to the fact that there is a free charger at work so that enables me to commute FOC.
In the EV world i have owned two Leafs but they were no good due to the...
Now I've got the PZ on the forum I guess I can get the fairly new to me daily 😁
Obviously it had to be something a bit different 😁 it's the 135 MultiAir, a fairly decent spec having stuff like the tan seats and auto climate. I'll have to get some more info on here soon but for now here's a...
Like an unusual human with a big garage i always like to own a convertible vehicle for the sunny days (3 days a year where i live😂) but ocassionaly taking trips to the south coast of France or Italy so a convertible comes in handy there.
The convertible owned by me needs to have:
A cloth roof(i...
Good evening ladies and gentleman!
I would like to present you with the RX EAT.
The RX EAT originates from Leicester.
The owner has fitted a turbo kit on this car but unfortunate events caused the engine to go pop before even passing the tuning stage.
I bought the car with view to keep the turbo...
Hi guys,i would like to make a new post today about my daily driver.
A BMW 435d.
At a glance the 435d is a lovely car, very spacious, has a good spec and great confort.
While it will put nearly any average car to shame, this is a relatively cheap car, very economic (does 38mpg for me and i do like to...
I would like to show you one of my other toys, a 1992 RX7 FD.
I have rescued this car from being sat under a tree since 2009,found it in a RX7 forum and i taught what the hell, got nothing better to do
The previous owner was killed by cancer and his partener has keeped the car in his memory wanting...
I am in the process of trying to fix the brakes on the better half's DS3, The Right Rear had apparently been dragging for some time and since I could not get the piston to retract I went and bought new caliper for the rear c/w discs, pads and new brake hoses.
Hi guys
As some of you may have seen at Christmas I treated myself to a new car. After looking at loads of different makes I finally settled on a 2017 Nissan 370z nismo. When I got her it was standard with 16045 miles on the clock. Since then I have fitted her with new Michelin ps4s, updated the...
So, a friend of mine and I have all of a sudden decided we might get a new project car together. We were thinking about the RX8 again originally but a new opportunity has just arisen.
We may be about to acquire for very, very little money a 2000 Accord Type R. It's high mileage at around 150k, I...
If you ever have fit a pollen filter to one of the above, or a Clio or Dacia go and buy the filter at Halfords and get them to fit it! 57676AD0-1AC8-4AC8-83D3-DD16F3D9C030.jpeg This cover is a ****** to remove as it’s up under dash on the drivers side of the HVAC unit...
