I notice with my lights on I can see a myriad of little tiny marks on the lens plastic which cannot be removed by exterior polishing and make the lens seem a bit 'foggy'
I know they are not dirt on the inside either as my attempts to wipe them off using a small rag through the light bulb...

I haven't washed the car for 10 years +.
I wipe it down after a drive with a damp glove mitten and that's it. The wheels have a quick rince and wiped dry. I'm guessing with corssion issues it should prolong its life.

My last large sized EZ detail brush broke after a couple of years use. These cost nearly £30 so not too happy. The failure was where the twisted wire jointed the handle so I think it is unrecoverable and only fit for the bin. Not sure I want to buy another of the same brand.

I have just managed to land a bargain in the form of a Seibon carbon fibre bonnet and boot, the lacquer is fully intact and hasn't yellowed but they could do with a good polish still. Are normal cleaning products good for this, or something in particular?
