Well, I booked myself a place in there! The format for the day is 3 sessions of 20 minutes each per hour, and I should get around 5 to 7 sessions in total, which makes a lot of driving! They split us up in groups based on experience, and hopefully there won't be too many cars there. I'll see how muc...

I took my air filter box out today. When I managed to detach the box, I opened it. As the upper part does not really detach from the connectors, I flipped it upside down on the engine bay. UNfortunately one of the two metal clips fell down in the engine bay. It took me an hour to find it. So...

 I do think the stock gearknob is not the best in its class: quite chunky IMHO. The Superanatomico from Momo seems better, still need to find it in a shop. It's not very high on my wish list, but it would be a nice change that would improve my driving experience. It is not flashy (forget the Co...

A few members on rx8club.com got the one we get here (slightly different as you can see on the first page of this thread) and fit it to the right hand side just fine. I think it would fit. If it does not, I can always than sell it back on ebay. I'll get one eventually, and if it fits, I will post pi...

I found a place http://www.chronos.ltd.uk/ Where I can get a sheet of alluminium, delivered, for between 5 and 10 quid. Once I get the measures of the original one, I can then just buy a couple of hinges in B&Q, and cut the shape and drill the holes myself. I may even paint it using Hammerite so it ...

A question for AndyM:
What are the measures of the passenger footrest?
I am wondering if they are the same in other countries, and I may opt to buy overseas.
I found one on www.Japanparts.com for £110
Anybody else had experience buying from them?

I have a Hi Power model. I guess that is one of the things they might have changed for 2005. The alu pedals are actually holding their looks quite well so far. The reason I really want one is that at the weekends I am usually my wife's passenger in it, and I really miss having a metal plate to put m...

Looking for Aluminium passenger foot-rest, replica

I was wondering if anybody knew of a cheaper but still good looking alternative to the original accessory from Mazda. At 200 quid, it is not a cheap bit of aluminium.
I wonder if the guy who made the strakes would be able to make the footrest.

I think I saw Jooster this morning around 9ish in old basing.
I remember him from popping a card under the wiper blade in homebase some time ago. I flashed and waved... but you did not see me!

Just in case anybody was wondering, I am still up for it tomorrows, as are my wife and my nieces.

I'll be there at 10:30.

Just finished washing my car today... in the dark... and the car being black does not help. For once in my life I wished I went for yellow...

I have a solution. :-) My wife and I will both be driving there, carring our three nieces with us. Meet up with all of you guys and gals (and little kiddies). Then whovere has some space, can take my wife or my 12yo niece with them, or even myself: think my wife would love to drive her three nieces ...

Thanks guys for your support. (druck, jsd, sms, honeyball)
How many other kids are gonna be there?
Because as it stands, I think I may as well take advantage of my friend Gerogina and let her take care of my nieces.
