Re: Pod gauges!

Right, after some research, I'm going for the following setup I think! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/383689805357 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/193377269118 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/193334594154 https://www.ebay.com/itm/164220023518 Before I go ahead, is there anything obvious I'm missing here? Cheers a...

Re: Pod gauges!

Right, providing there isn't much difference in the accuracy of the gauges, I was looking at something like this for a gauge: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/203063227100 As well as this sandwich plate: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/383689805357 My only confusion revolves around fitting the censor. I unders...

Re: Pod gauges!

So, if I lean towards oil pressure and temperature, will I just need an oil filter sandwich plate? If that's the case, then will any do or is there any advantage of having a more expensive one? Cheers.

Re: Pod gauges!

I'm going to be really controversial here... Let's pretend that you've now fitted your gauges and the needles are moving around in the appropriate manner. What are you going to do with the information? Let's also assume that you're not going to post yet another "Is this normal?" thread, as you alre...

Pod gauges!

Hi all, So I am looking into pod gauges as I think it'll be good to have some more accurate data when driving. My question is, what is the best combo for 2 gauges? As well as what do you need to wire them into the car? I've had a quick look on the forum bit have probably missed loads of info, so any...

Re: Pz center cap intrest?

It's always interesting asking for people's thoughts,, From what ive seen on ebay, a scabby old cap tends to have the asking price of £40 plus p&p. If i were to make some sets there is no way i could make them for £50, Mine woukd be literally hand made, and im trying to future proof the de lacqueri...

Re: Really

Id also be interested in a group buy as long as the price is reasonable and we have enough interest. Mine are starting to fade and don't really fancy paying upwards of £300 [emoji23]

Re: Parrot kit issue

Aux in is fine. Do I need this (https://www.justcarkits.co.uk/acatalog/MAZ06TEL.html) instead of this? (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/173546647083)

Cheers,

It is Bluetooth and wasn't on charge at the time. I do have an aux in which I'll check today. Cheers.

Parrot kit issue

Hi all, Just gone to install a parrot kit into my new 8 and am having some issues. It's all plumbed in and playing music fine, but whenever I make or receive a call, only the front speakers work and the rears give off a bad static like interference noise, which alters in pitch with the car revs. I'v...

Re: PZ springs

Anyone know how long a response usually takes from the shop? I emailed and pm'd last week and haven't had a response yet. Just want to ensure I haven't missed out on the suspension! Cheers.

Re: Aftermarket decat or gut?

Right, I see. I understand the smell they give off as mine came decated. was a bit confused as it was a nightmare to get off, but it passes mot's fine. It clearly hasn't been off the car in a while, but is very clean inside the cat like it has been gutted , yet no cel or emission issues in past mot'...

Aftermarket decat or gut?

Hi all, Leaning more towards decating my RX-8 after the next mot. It's currently got a working OEM cat which I'd like to preserve, and it came with a gutted OEM cat. Just wondering whether there are any benefits to running a purpose built aftermarket decat or should I stick with the gutted cat I alr...

Is the best way to contact the shopkeeper via the contact section in the club shop? I've fired an email asking on Friday, so will hopefully get a response soon.

Re: PZ springs

I'm just worried about the other springs and when they'll fail. The car has 74k miles on it so don't know how long they usually last. I don't really want to fit aftermarket suspension as the prodrive suspension was what made me buy a prodrive edition rx-8 after my first failed. Sent from my CLT-L09 ...

No, but I'm worried about it not sitting right (i.e. the old spring sagging more). And if another one goes, I'll be stuck then.

Re: PZ springs

I think I'll have to bite the bullet and get the set whilst I still can. I am aware I think I may be about a month off for qualifying for the members price, but do you think I'd be able to buy now/reserve/leave a deposit until I have 12 months confirmed for the members price? As stated before, It is...

Re: PZ springs

Cheers for all the help. I'll see how my finances are and if I have been a member for a year yet (must be close if not already) and take it from there. Leaning to the PZ suspension though as I'd like to keep it original [emoji106]
