Re: Honkytonk's Black P-Shed

Sorry to read about your mot failure, what are your plans now? there are loads of people on here who could help with the welding needed,as for the other bits, they are easily fixed. Please dont be put off by this,it is easily fixed, although distance is a problem, do you still have any remaining mot so...

Re: Visual differences, 10 mm, 15 mm, and 20 mm spacers

Hello, by using a 20mm spacer, and with a stud length of 27mm,which i assume is standard on all cars, there is a 7mm reduction to be made in the hub stud. this can either be achieved by pocketing the rear of the wheel itself,if not already done,or reducing the stud length by 7mm,making sure you have n...

Re: Visual differences, 10 mm, 15 mm, and 20 mm spacers

I found that 20mm is about the limit using stock wheels and 225 45 18 tyres, and i do know that 25mm ,although fitted to my sons rx are to tight for the rear, but we had to repair the arches so managed to accomodate them. Which ever you choose, you will need to reduce the stud length on the hub,and for...

Re: kuro no1 and no2

Well, the geometry is done on kuro1, the results of which are spot on. All the work i have put into the suspension and running gear has made having pz suspension very worth while. although i am no race driver, the results of fitting the pz stuff is very noticeable,as it just feels "right". i can say w...

Re: Welding / Rear Sill Rust

Do you have any mates who can weld, and also have their own kit. There is no better way to learn than by practicing under supervision. Creating a continuous weld is going to be the hard part, together with knowing what settings to use, which also depend on materials used. Welding is very much a sensory...

Hi Dave,i don't know how old they were, and they have since been left at the fitters for recycling. i can account for 2 years and about 5,000 miles in my ownership, and they had about 1.8mm of tread left, and were also hankook ventus evo tyres, rob.
