You don`t need a resistor for the LED upper brake light its only required if you change the rear lights as well to LED`s as it affects the brake light monitoring circuit.

Yellow & black by any chance?..Uma Thurman wore a pair in the 'Kill Bill' movie,to match her yellow jumpsuit, and Bruce Lee wore a white pair in 'Game Of Death'..

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????

All I use on my headlights is Meguiar's Plast-Rx..a good rubbing with that, buff off and sparkling. Admittedly my headlights are 95% clear,it's just on the small areas that are starting to haze that I use it,once every couple of months.

More heel and toe, this time from Aussie racer-turned-commentator Neil Crompton,at the wheel of a Holden Commodore V8 Supercar.. Running,I believe,Hollinger race transmissions with no synchro,he's only using the clutch on the 1st to 2nd upshift, clutchless flat-shifting thereafter. He's double-declutch...

Re: Thanks - I own an RX8 R3 now (and questions about gearbox/clutch)

I think Pete's done a few of these 'transplants' into R3's now..Still not sure I'd want an S1 in mine, but since the 2011 R3 'box he supplied nearly four years ago,is still sweet,it's unlikely I'll need to ;)

Unless the R3 it came from was resprayed, that spoiler will be Sparkling Black (metallic),and not the solid black of your car ;)

It'll be quite noticeable in bright sunlight..

Re: Plastic Arch Liner

The rubber flap is the one that gets unhooked to provide access to the spark plugs, and they eventually split,so people tend to leave them off.

As above,you could make one,or as I did,get a pair from a breaker for a couple of quid ;)

Re: Servicing - Oil Filter seized

That's most likely the residue of an oil burp..it's worth removing and cleaning the intake hose bewteen airbox and throttle body, including the plastic resonator chamber.

Whilst you've got that off,you could also give the throttle body a scrub out with an old toothbrush and carburettor cleaner ;)

Re: Puddle of Water in my passenger side footwell

Check the drain holes in the bottom of the drivers door aren't clogged up,if they are, water can rise inside the door cavity until it can leak out from behind the door card. Also, check if it' seems wet around the bonnet release lever on the lower dash,as in this thread on the US forum.. https://www.r...

The best advice, but unfortunately, now our R3's have fallen victim of a recall  , there isn't that option..
