Screw it, need something else to look forward to and Oulton is still one that I've never been to. Booked at early bird price along with the premier inn for the night before.

Helps the water flow back down the hill, so works really well. May have also taken the opportunity to fit Meister R coilovers and a Cusco antiroll bar....

Fed up at looking at dirty cars, so rather than doing some post work spannering, I decided to wash the fleet instead this evening.Image

Re: Supercharged RX-8 Engine Renaissance

Yeah the 9s are the main choice of plug for lightly modified FDs. I only went to a combination of 9s and 10s after the single turbo conversion and 400whp+.

Don't know much about using FD plugs on an 8. Rob Dahm uses RX8 plugs on his FDs though...

Re: What have you done to your RX-8 today????

Visited Thames Valley MOTs and got the car through for another year. Dave did point out that my aftermarket brake hoses were rubbing against the base of my TEIN coilovers when the steering was on full lock. The joys of buying a highly modified car. HEL hoses now ordered to avoid a future bout of cat...

No, as it was a blind crest, I only saw you once you'd already sorted yourself out and were calmly driving down the hill on the grass

Re: ***TRACKDAY, Cadwell Park - Monday 2nd March £99***

Managed to get the video production going for Cadwell. Sightly frustrating as my interior cam was pointing too high and Harry's timer was failing to export data. However for perhaps the first time, the GPS data on my GoPro 6 worked accurately enough for the session I wanted to edit. So here's an ent...

Managed to come back from Cadwell with completely spent front brake pads, so have just stuck some new 1144s on.

Re: ***TRACKDAY, Cadwell Park - Monday 2nd March £99***

There's one of mine flaming that I'd probably want. Otherwise I'll need to sit down at the computer and take a closer look. Given the pricing structure, I agree we should try and order together, otherwise it's pretty expensive for low volume orders. Shame MSVT aren't following the current trend of i...

Like Ranjan, I also went looking for Mallory. Still managed to attend 3 of those days last year, plus an extra 2 of those tracks on non club days in the FD (RIP). I'll have a XL, and I'll make the presumption that either Nigel or Chris can relay it from the AGM to Cadwell the next day [emoji106] Sen...

Possible to do a decent South Oxfordshire loop. Henley to Nettlebed to Sonning Common to Cane End, Goring, Wantage, Skirt Didcot then back East with some possible fun around Watlington, Christmas Common etc.

Re: Oxford Driving Roads

13 bends is just outside of Reading. Infact it's my nearest fun stretch of road about a mile from my house. The amount of crashed vehicles I've seen there over the years is staggering. Right now there's a van lodged behind a tree up a 10ft bank. God knows how the driver managed to get it there! Sent...

Re: 2020 Welsh Weekend of Campin,Rampin and Wanklin - Saturday 23rd May and Sunday 24th May : from 9am

I'll put myself as a maybe. Firstly, I'm pretty sure this coincides with a half term holiday and I'm considering booking a week away with the family instead. Secondly it depends where I'll be with my car projects as to whether I'll be at a stage where I'll be ready and able to drive and do things el...
