Re: ***TRACKDAY Oulton Park - Friday 13th November NEARLY SOLD OUT***

I'm sure it will be an effort getting onto the stand via the one entry as per each year but looking forward to it.

Re: Mark's Championship White FK8 Type R GT

Haha, we went last Tuesday and was supposed to avoid the monkey enclosure but I changed my mind...... We ended up getting stuck behind a stupid car blocking the road covered in monkeys attacking it, and then one decided to turn its attention on our car! We got off lightly, i only had to repl...

Re: My R3

When I was getting my wheels done we tried looking for the closest match. This was what we found and I was stuck between this or the bronze colour i chose. :thumleft:

Re: My R3

I dont believe there is a precise colour code for the original R3 alloys as many have looked before and often just find a close match

Re: Advice - Traders: Who's Who?

Oh thats interesting,..... he dropped off the radar as there were some bad customer service issues and I believe some legal claims against them in the end.

As far as I'm aware he is now just a self employed
sparky. Maybe the correct paperwork were never submitted.

Re: Advice - Traders: Who's Who?

I had my car serviced and MOT’d at TPS last week, first time I’ve taken it to them since moving house. Met Reece, Kim and Josh, all really nice blokes with a good knowledge of the 8. They are diversifying their business, doing MX-5s, Minis amongst other things, in a similar way to RR becoming MAP a...

Re: Advice - Traders: Who's Who?

I believe that TPS (reece) still does their work. I have seen them drop off a few different cars not just Rx8's. Not had any dealings with them myself though.

Re: My R3

Also, where did you get the refurb done - I assume you'd recommend them? It's the first time I've ever had wheels done myself and was with https://diamondcutawc.co.uk/ They are running a 25%-30% off deal until the end of August for standard colours as advertise on their FB page. I was kept updated ...

Re: My R3

After discovering that i had two buckelled wheels i decided that it would be more cost effective to get my original R3 wheels refurbished and powder coated as they where in a state. I was planning to get the closest to the original colour as possible but, whilst chatting to the manager I mentioned ...

Re: My R3

Just a small update as I haven't used the car much this year with lockdown and planned trackday trips cancelled :( I recently took a visit with the car up to see Neil at Custom Detailing for some TLC and had my spare set of R3 wheels fitted that had been sitting in the garage for over a year since ...
