Re: New Coilovers to replace Cusco’s

Before fitting the edfc motors, do the dampers have to set on a certain setting? Hardest or softest setting or middle?

Any idea?

Looks good! The mx5 looks angry with it lol

Saw one the other day in white and it also had white alloys.... kind of suits it.

Very practical car :thumright:

As far as as I'm aware its only the RB version that fits the R3. Something to do with the angle of the connector or something

Sometimes it can take a few days. Some are faster than others. Just keep your paperwork handy

Are these calipers made by a different company with just your branding stamped on them? Look like compbrake calipers?

Depends on cost of the item parts...... maybe it's time to upgrade to the RB lines?

Would be interesting to hear the reason why. Maybe its something the club could learn from and improve?

Re: New Coilovers to replace Cusco’s

Good write up, they sound superb!

Where did you install the control monitor?

Also, did clive say he used the edfc active with gps or the active pro?

Re: My R3

Since fitting the Tein Monosport I've managed to do a couple of trackdays at Oulton Park and Brandshatch and I'm very impressed with them on the car. :race: I had them dialled 3 clicks from full hard. Re: New Coilovers to replace Cusco’s

Yep, it definitely seems like a bit of kit that needs time to learn. :study: The monosport alone are superb from what Ive experience so far with them on road and track but are a nuisance to keep manually adjusting when needed. As mentioned, I always had the edfc active pro on my list to get but thin...

Re: New Coilovers to replace Cusco’s

With those 4 options can you adjust the lowest soft setting incase it's too soft or are those values set in stone? #-o

I shouldn't but I may even bite the bullet and get the edfc before my double trackday at the Nurburgring in April. :-k
