Funny enough the upgraded tensioner pulley had decided to come apart and was replaced with a standard one.

Unfortunately the noise still happens from about 5500rpm

Cheers pete, will hopefully look for one with lower mileage and hope it has less chance of the bearings failing too early.

Hi, Not using the car much at the moment but i will be looking for a new AC PUMP over the next few months although not an urgency as such Mine still works but once the car gets over a certain high Rpm and the ac is turned on the ac pump starts making a rumble sound where the bearing is on its way out.

*But on a serious note, its a shame that it has come to this. I was actually thinking about doing another event with them this year the other day.

I guess as a main dealer you need to be careful incase they don't listen too instructions of ' do not change the air filter'. Fair enough

How comes you removed the air filter for the service?

Thats a steep quote for insurance. Try insuremytrackday for a quote. I usually pay around the £80-100 price. But again it is your choice.

Thats the trick. The wheel closest to the front seats get push up a little as Chris mentioned.

Just to note, I don't remove my rear seats when transporting my track wheels. I just stack two on each side horizontally on a cover and still have plenty of driving seat space and I'm not exactly small. Lol

Yes I also noticed the lack of a static test in the briefing. Have timings for the day been published? I don't recall seeing them anywhere. I've just driven the car for the first time in 3 weeks, to get some fuel, and didn't find driving to be a bother. Will see if that's still the case after a who...

I will still allow time just incase a static test is required.

I'm just packing the car now and im going to pack my track tyres but I very much doubt that they will be needed with this weather, but at least it will save having to swap tyres over

Although it suggests that noise level will be monitored on track and if flagged up will have to conduct a static sound test.

So I guess no test is required beforehand unless I'm mistaken?
