Re: locking wheel nut key

As ChrisHolmes says, you can contact mcgard in Germany direct but you’ll also need to send a photo of your V5 and a photo of the car from the front.

Re: Which Bluetooth handsfree works best?

Hi
I’ve already been looking on fleebay but no one includes the firmware present. I guess they don’t check before taking the units out.

Re: Which Bluetooth handsfree works best?

My PZ audio unit has firmware v10.01. Are any Bluetooth/auxin systems for playing my iPhone music compatible. If not what solutions are there?
Thanks

Re: Tein flex coilovers too soft???

Is anyone using Tein Flex Z and NOT having this bottoming out problem? I’ve taken my stock rear springs/shocks off my PZ and placed them next to my Tein Flex Z. The Tein coilovers are set up as per the instructions as accurately as I can (using vernier calipers). As you can see there is a significan...

Re: Number Plate

I'm pleased you can get away with it....wish I could. Your car looks great as it is :thumleft: I think cars like the e-type have dispensation as that's how they were designed. Wondering if I can get a flexible magnetic number plate and glue earth magnets to the inside of the front bumper. Then I can...

Re: Number Plate

I asked 2 of my local MoT stations about putting my number plate above the grill as Dove66, and both said it would be an MoT fail as it is not vertical and there is a facility designed to mount the number plate over the grill :(

Re: Tein flex coilovers too soft???

The Tein Flex Z coilovers in the photo used by Goobie are mine which I bought last year as a spring on my PZ rears broke and I couldn’t find a replacement. Then after I bought them I found a full set of PZ suspension on eBay so still haven’t fitted them. They came as you see them in the photo, all a...

Re: Oil Questions and Recommendations

So using an Ester fully synthetic based oil is fine in a Rotary engine when a sohn adaptor is fitted as there’s no oil burning? I have some Millers nanodrive CFS 5w-40 NT+ I was going to use for “spirited” road use.

Re: black oil

Thank you Dave....I have now. Think I’ll stick with a good quality S1 filter and continue changing it at 6k intervals with the oil (I use 10w-40). I doubt very much I’ll get to a situation where the filter limits the oil flow so much it forces the filter bypass open.

RRP Sohn-type Adaptor

Hi Carl I’m about to eventually fit one of your OMPs to my PZ and I’ve heard that Sohn type adaptors are not compatible with the R3 because the engine runs at higher oil pressures. However, I’ve modified my oil system with a regulator that increases the oil pressure to R3 levels. Does this mean I ca...

Re: black oil

Thanks for the responses. Still awaiting Aston’s recommendations. I was concerned the standard S1 filters bypass would open too often but, I’m guessing it may only be a problem if the filter paper becomes restricting.

Re: black oil

Just come across this thread so hope I’m not hi-jacking... I have fitted the Essex Rotary higher pressure rear oil pressure regulator and washers ( shimmies) to the front oil control value to increase from standard S1 pressure to more like R3. In doing so, can I now fit an R3 oil filter or should I ...

Re: PZ SUSPENSION (brand new) GROUP BUY

Dilemma!
I have a full set of unused Tein Flex Z coilovers I bought last year from MRP waiting to be fitted to my PZ. Now I’m wondering if I should go for the group buy and sell the Teins?
Is there any Rx8 boffins out there who could give me a comparison of the 2 sets?
