Re: Oil Questions and Recommendations

Hi Oilman

Can there be a reason why this ester based fully synthetic oil can cause such a problem? I've just changed my oil to this running a sohn adapter and more than a little concerned.

Are you associating the bearing failures you’ve had due lack of lubrication to the type of oil?

Re: PZ Bilstein Gaiters Guide

Okay I get it. I initially thought you were referring to the nut at the top of the shaft of the shock absorber. But you mean this as arrowed. Sorry I’ve been working nights and not gone to bed yet. Does the nut at the end of the shocker tighten to a end stop?

Re: PZ Bilstein Gaiters Guide

13black says:
P.S Don't forget to torque the Upper A-Arm bolts with the shock absorber compressed to the recommended ride height.
Is there a section on the forum showing for simpletons like myself how to do this?

Re: Which Bluetooth handsfree works best?

Hi
I’ve already been looking on fleebay but no one includes the firmware present. I guess they don’t check before taking the units out.

Re: Which Bluetooth handsfree works best?

My PZ audio unit has firmware v10.01. Are any Bluetooth/auxin systems for playing my iPhone music compatible. If not what solutions are there?
Thanks

Re: Tein flex coilovers too soft???

Is anyone using Tein Flex Z and NOT having this bottoming out problem? I’ve taken my stock rear springs/shocks off my PZ and placed them next to my Tein Flex Z. The Tein coilovers are set up as per the instructions as accurately as I can (using vernier calipers). As you can see there is a significan...

Re: Number Plate

I'm pleased you can get away with it....wish I could. Your car looks great as it is :thumleft: I think cars like the e-type have dispensation as that's how they were designed. Wondering if I can get a flexible magnetic number plate and glue earth magnets to the inside of the front bumper. Then I can...

Re: Number Plate

I asked 2 of my local MoT stations about putting my number plate above the grill as Dove66, and both said it would be an MoT fail as it is not vertical and there is a facility designed to mount the number plate over the grill :(
