Dave, a can of matt black spray from halford will do the job. Thats what my massive grill on the INGs was painted with and yes over time it does need another coat, but presumably removing is easy enough?

It took 2 years before mine needed another coat.

400! What you gotta be kidding. I never managed more than 240 and that was taking it easy. I think its very much car dependant for some reason. I just managed to squeeze 500 out of the last tank of oil in the tractor... not bad for the same money I was putting in the 8 to get about 180 if I was lucky!

I ran 235x35 on my 19x7.5 rims, not a problem.

As for the wider rears, they should fit fine, lots of people on the US forum have done this without problem (only a problem if you go up to 20")

I've not heard any reports either of this causing DSC problems.

Otherwise take the front bumper off - only takes about 30 mins first time and 10 mins to put back on. Check the DIY thread for how to.

You can get at the back of them, unscrew the mechanism and fix that way.

If quality is important, which I understand completely you want to avoid most of the aftermarket ones as they are mostly FRP which will crack, break easily and won't last more than a couple of years. The alternatives, are the INGs, which I had on mine - its a Hybrid Resin, which is fibre glass based...
