Normally, I'd say that every £1,000 spent on modifying a car, reduces the value by £500, when it comes to selling, compared to an unmodified example. While various fuel pipe ring removal tools are available, I can see an advantage of sourcing a good tool that fits the RX-8's ring, and offering it alongside the replacement pump.
