They look very similar to the ones I retrieved out of another members manifold, not identical but not that different. Follow the instructions here and that should determine if the issue is mechanical (UJ, rack, balljoints etc) or electrical (connections, rack, torque sensor or ECU)

The incompatible firmware doesn't recognise an Aux input and there's no way to reflash, short of swapping chips.
