Replacement drive belts

Sometimes called "fan belts" though ours don't drive the fans, the Renesis engine has two external drive belts. The alternator/water pump belt is N3H1-18-381A (5 ribs & 817mm) see https://spareto.co.uk/oe/n3h118381a The A/C belt is N3H1-15-908A (4 ribs & 779mm) see https://spareto.co.uk/oe/n3h115908...

Re: Honkytonk's Mighty '99 Vectra B 1.8 (Club)

Good plan :thumleft: I use Newtownards as a centre for searches, as we're right on the coast and a circle drawn from here is half in the sea, or worse yet it touches the land that's 5 miles away across the estuary but 35 miles away by road. #-o A circle drawn around N'ards includes us and the area I...

Re: Are my belts still slipping?

You can get a squeaking noise, which changes with engine revs and temperature, that's created by a tiny vacuum leak, often a cracked plastic elbow on the side/top of the intake.

Are you looking for it to be engaged or are you trying to inject voltage to do it manually?

Re: First time RX-8 owner

I've not quite found the right time to tell my girlfriend that I've bought it yet and with a toddler and a baby she wouldn't really see it as a 'family car'. Any suggestions gratefully received! #-o https://www.rx8ownersclub.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=80633&p=1234285&hilit=booster+seat#p1234285
